Amy Reider
Hello! My name is Amy Reider, and I am a family law paralegal here at Holcomb Law.
I was born in the Philippines and graduated from Holy Angel University with a BS in Business Administration. I started my 42+ year legal career when I was hired by the Air Force Legal Office at Clark Air Base. I was twice blessed by being selected for this competitive position and where I also met a dashing young Major who became my future husband. After getting married, we were stationed in Hawaii which was almost like having a 4-year honeymoon in that beautiful tropical paradise. While there, I was fortunate to work for a senior partner in a “92-attorney firm,” the largest law firm in Hawaii.
Our next assignment was Virginia, where I worked for several law firms learning all aspects of Virginia law. I then joined Schempf & Ware, PLLC for the last 16 years working for Bryan Schempf doing family law, estate planning, personal injury, and civil litigation. After Mr. Schempf passed away, the firm merged with Holcomb Law, and I am now employed as a family law paralegal for Stephen Jones and John Dooley.
I love my work and enjoy helping clients in navigating the legal documents and procedures involving their case. I understand how stressful this can be, and I always go the extra mile to help them.
In my downtime, I enjoy watching sports, streaming movies, and listening to music with my husband. I also love gardening and taking pictures of butterflies, flowers and hummingbirds that visit our yard.
Ashley Holland
Hi there! I am Ashley Holland, an Intake Specialist at Holcomb Law and a proud Chicago native. I will be celebrating a major milestone in May 2025 when I graduate from Hampton University- Go Pirates!
But my greatest joy? Being a mom to my beautiful daughter, Autumn Dior. She’s my world, and together, we make the most of every moment whether we’re cooking up something delicious, getting creative with arts and crafts, or packing our bags for our next adventure.
I believe that the best and most beautiful things in life aren’t just seen or touched- they are felt with the heart. (Helen Keller said it best!) I am all about making meaningful connections, embracing new experiences, and living life with purpose.
Looking forward to connecting with you!
Carly Walker
Hello! I’m Carly Walker, Executive Assistant at Holcomb Law. I am grateful for the experiences that have led me here, and I’m excited to contribute my skills and wisdom to this amazing team.
I grew up in Northern Virginia, where I raised and homeschooled my four children – Micaela, Amanda, Jacob, and Liam – who are now successful adults; three of whom are active-duty military. I decided to make the Hampton Roads area my ‘home base’ to be closer to my daughter and my two granddaughters.
Besides spending quality time with my family, I enjoy an active lifestyle of doing anything outdoors, including paddleboarding, kayak-fishing, biking, golfing, playing soccer, hiking or just beachin’ it, with a good book, of course!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
Dana Cox
Hi, I’m Dana! I’m a criminal law paralegal here at Holcomb Law. I’ve been in the criminal justice field for over 12 years, and had to leave to be a stay at home mom during the pandemic.
Turns out, as much of an introvert as I think I am, I really love connecting with people, and I am so glad to be back to doing what I love.
When I’m not at work, I’m taking care of my amazing son, Memphis! He is a total boy, so he’s constantly keeping me on my toes outdoors, whether it’s to baseball games, or to Busch Gardens to ride roller coasters! I also enjoy capturing family memories as a photographer in my free time.
