I was raised in Floyd County, Virginia, alongside two older brothers—a dynamic that taught me the value of standing up for myself and others. That early experience of earning my place at the table continues to shape my approach to advocating for clients. (If you ask my brothers, they will likely take credit for my skills as an attorney—after all, arguing with them was my first real training ground). While I never imagined I would end up as an attorney, I am confident I am exactly where I am supposed to be—fighting for my clients and their desires.
After leaving Floyd County, I earned my bachelor’s degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. During my time there, I volunteered at a youth ranch, which sparked my wild idea of going to law school. I had the privilege of mentoring children from various backgrounds, many of whom were in group homes. Listening to their stories—especially their feelings of being overlooked through the legal process—ignited my passion to fight for children and families in the courtroom. This ultimately led me to earn my Juris Doctorate at Liberty University School of Law.
During law school, I gained valuable experience working with clients at Southwest Legal Aid. After graduating, I had the opportunity to practice family law in the Hampton Roads area for a couple years before returning to Lynchburg—coming full circle and reconnecting with the community I now serve.
As an attorney, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and effective representation for clients. As a member of Holcomb Law, I’m proud to advocate for families and make a meaningful difference in the lives of my clients.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, staying active through running and sports, trying new (to me) restaurants, and enjoying the outdoors.
