I’m a Virginia native, born in Newport News and raised in Seaford. I graduated from York High School and went on to earn my Bachelor’s degrees in Justice Studies and Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication, as well as a Master’s in Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication from James Madison University. I received my Juris Doctor from Liberty University with a concentration in Family Law.
I’ve always felt a calling to practice family law. These cases often arise during some of the most difficult moments in a person’s life, and I truly believe I can make a difference with both my expertise and my compassion. Since joining Holcomb Law over five years ago, I’ve practiced exclusively in the area of family law, handling divorce, custody, visitation, child and spousal support, and adoption cases.
While I regularly litigate, my goal is always to find creative, collaborative solutions that keep families out of court whenever possible. I want every client to feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for — and to know that I took their case seriously and worked tirelessly on their behalf.
I’ve been honored as a Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyer and named one of Coastal Virginia Magazine’s Top Family Law Attorneys in 2023. I’m also an active member of the Newport News and Hampton Bar Associations.
One of the things I value most about working at Holcomb Law is the strong team dynamic. We support one another, learn from one another, and genuinely enjoy working — and laughing — together.
Outside the office, I love spending time with my wife, Sydney, whom I married in April 2025, and my family. I’m a lifelong sports and music enthusiast and a proud alumnus of Theta Chi Fraternity. If there’s a game on, chances are I’m watching — I cheer on the New York Knicks, Washington Commanders, Boston Red Sox, Washington Capitals, and Chelsea FC.
